Pu’er with Chrysanthemum flowers is a staple blend in Cantonese region. It’s commonly found in dim sum restaurants, and used as an everyday elixir. From the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, it’s considered beneficial for the eyes, liver and digestion, as well as cooling for the body.
This is a blend of Teaphile’s Golden Tip 2012 Shu Pu’er sourced from Yunnan and locally grown 菊花 Ju Hua from Lunaria Flower Farm.
Teaphile is an Oakland-based tea brand by Annie Chen. Annie specializes in the folk tradition of Gongfu cha, and focuses on consciously sourced loose leaf teas from small family farms.
